Győző Vörös ancient researcher received the Széchenyi Prize

On the occasion of March 15, the Kossuth and Széchenyi awards, the Hungarian Order of Merit, the Hungarian Golden Cross of Merit, a worthy artist, an excellent artist and the Laurel Wreath awards were presented at the Parliament and the Pesti Vigadó.

Győző Vörös ancient researcher, Egyptologist, doctor of architecture, honorary member of Hungarian Academy of Arts, and a scientific advisor of Art Theory and Methodology Research Institute, also received the Széchenyi Prize. The research carried out by the specialist received the Papal Gold Medal and the related papal diploma on 1 February in Rome for the excavations on Machaerus Hill in Jordan, which is unique in terms of Hungarian archeology in the Holy Land.
